Apparently the left hand animations in the guitar sequences are also accurate. Can’t verify, I’m only good with instruments that you hit with sticks

Love this level of detail this game can reach, but then I roll my eyes when an NPC drives and they don’t move the wheel when turning.

All of the Samurai songs were performed by a hardcore band from Sweden called refused. I knew it right away the first time I played the game because of the singers voice. If your a punk/hardcore fan you might know Refused from their 1998 album (and subsequent 2004 re-issue) ‘Shape of punk to come.’ CDPR probably got the anims for the in game band from filming them play.

It’s things like this that were so baffling at launch, they had the ability and presence of mind to go to so much detail to do this but then the police would pop into existence if you looked at someone wrong. Glad 2.0 sorted a lot out and it just sucks it took and extra 3 years.

Mocap = magic imo

it would have been so easy to bethesda it and have just a generic drum animation. I mean how many people are gonna turn around and look at the drummer?
Heck even the left hand is accurate, and i’d be willing to bet if this had third person, johnny was infact strumming the guitar accurately with his other hand.

The high hat paddle work seems pretty out of place
