Which is a great way to balance it.
What about loadouts? Is it back to WZ1 style with 2 free loadouts and loadouts at 10k or same as WZ2?
Will rotational aim assist for controllers still be as strong as it is currently?

I like most of the changes except for red dot on map when shooting unsuppressed gun and reload cancel.
I’m a big fan of staged reload. It makes lmg infinitely more usable. It also allows for more movement like dive, slide and jumps during reload even with smgs and ars(even smgs and ars have at least 2 reload stages). It’s gonna suck with LMGs without staged reload.
No red dot on unsuppressed guns also really promoted muzzle attachment diversity. Giving ppl precise location from shooting ur gun is stupid.
Are they gonna do something about the rampant cheating?
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I’m not a fan of red dots returning for unsuppressed weapons in Warzone. This will just decrease meta diversity by forcing everyone to run suppressors again.
As a melee player I think I’m gonna enjoy enemies giving me free cover when I down them lol, squad wipes gonna go crazy

Great addition but the dismount needs to be sped up. I was watching Swagg use one and it took forever for him to get off of it.

[There will be “4 different Gulags”](https://youtu.be/9o2bxsRvvEE?t=9346) building off of the Public Event system in Warzone. We’ve seen one alternate gulag is the NVG gulag. I imagine the other two variants will be on the same gulag map but with tweaked rules.
Later in the VOD Tim says that “Locked and Loaded” will be another Gulag variant. Where you enter the gulag with a max ammo AR and SMG and full plates.
Solid work putting together this list for everyone! I had an entire list of notes, but didn’t have time to make a post so I’m stoked to see someone else did.
To add to everything you mentioned:
• Visual markers when you plate or fully crack someone are changing back to blue like in WZ1.
• Cash will be available to pick up in the gulag that you will drop back into the match with. *(Edit: this is already currently in WZ2, but wasn’t originally a feature at a launch, so I figured I’d add that it was confirmed to be staying)*
• Fortune’s Keep will be returning in early 2024, but Rebirth Island will be returning later in 2024.
• Rebirth is also being released on Warzone Mobile, in addition to Verdansk.
• Rebirth and Fortune’s Keep are confirmed to be on map rotation once released.
Side note: although I’m sure a lot of people won’t care, it was stated that contrary to popular belief, devs do actively pay attention to player and community feedback. Although they may not make all changes requested, they are watching and listening and it did play a part in why they are bringing back Fortunes/Rebirth, as well as bringing back QOL features that we loved in WZ1. I think it’s important for people to remember that game devs often will make changes to games in order to try new things and see what sticks. It’s part of the creative process and trying to do new things. They gave WZ2 and all of its changes a shot for a solid year, processed all of the feedback, and are now implementing things back in that they see are important to the community, while making tweaks to try and make the overall feel and playability better than before.
I know we’ve been let down before, but if everything goes the way it’s looking, this is shaping up to be a really solid next chapter of Warzone. A lot of new, but a lot of excellent old. Can’t wait to drop in! 🫡

As a M&K player, the biggest improvements are reduced visual recoil and muzzle smoke!

What jumped to my face was how bad the weapons sound and that they just reused the ugly sights of vanguard. I expect this game to be awfully close to vanguard. which i hated.

Does Battle Hardened actually reduce their effect rather than just the duration? Do they still effect you if your back is turned to them? Can you turn them black in the settings?
