If storyline based game high graphics, if fps game 144hz

  2. QuantumFreezer

High graphics, especially for single player

  3. Fun_Can6825

Depends on the mood, casual or competitive mood

  4. Mr_Paddington1998

High graphic 60 fps is fine with me

Obviously, it depends on the game, setup, etc.

To generalize though, assuming it’s a binary choice, “low” graphics presets can hurt the experience more than dropping to 60 fps. Hell, that used to be the gold standard people aspired to. 30 fps OTOH… I don’t think I could go back to that.

Realistically, I would probably use some custom settings to get ~90-100 fps and decent fidelity.

I hit the “DLSS+FG for high graphics 144fps” button.

  7. i cant really go low graphics anymore even 1440p feel disgusting.

  8. Low graphics settings and 30 – 40 fps in modern games. If I can choose, I will change the height graphics settings and 60 fps

  9. itsbutterrs

id rather get a job and buy something worth my time instead of this struggle bus scenario you offered 😅 graphics shouldnt affect your FPS this much, however if your talking a difference in resolutions itd be a different case

  10. GoldenX86

Optimized graphics (performs like medium, looks like high, this is almost always possible) 90 FPS.

  11. Give_me_a_name_pls_

My monitor can only go to 1080p 75hz so I just change the settings to always be at that. I have a RX 6600xt so in most games I can do medium or high

  12. AssistanceLegal7549

In Anno1800? 30FPS all the way because it looks frickin awesome!
In stuff like COD or other shooters, lower your settings as low as possible. Saves power, has no real value AND free FPS

  13. KpecTHuk

Last 6 years i was happy for any fps above 24, so now with decent pc im fine if game on Ultra gave me anything above stable 30

  14. ApprehensiveAd6476

I don’t play FPS games, so left one.

  15. SneakyMellon

Or have high graphics with high fps

  16. ArtoriasBeaIG

I can barely tell the difference past 40 so as long as it doesnt stutter im going for high

  17. Fideriks19

i only need 60fps for single player games

  18. Sharik0be

You can do both. 60fps high graphics for non-competitive games, 144fps low graphics for competitive games. Anyone who has a brain already does this anyway.

  19. easy, high graphics for me

because most of the time i didn’t notice the difference between 60 and 144 fps

i also ditched my monitor and hooked my PC to the TV instead

  20. failedtoolaunch

This is one of those dumb questions like “which one would you choose: happiness or wealth”

    Easy.

    Give me the billions.

    I’m broke, I’m miserable. I’m rich, I’m miserable.

Give me the FPS. More faps per second. More hurtz.

  21. Interloper_Mango

I have a 144hz monitor. My target is usually around 80 to 120fps.

Although the two are not mutually exclusive. It depends entirely on your hardware.

  22. Mr_Resident

I dont play FPS games so high setting 60 is fine for me

  23. ImrahilSwan

I always play at 60hz even if I can go higher.

  24. DoctorDeep82

I’m a casual player and play with a controller 🎮. I’d have better graphics and low frame count. 60fps is the absolute lowest I’d go.

  25. It definitely does depend on the game but as someone who doesn’t play competitive shooters, I’m happy with 60FPS so I’ll tweak games to get the best graphics that stay over 60.

  26. Disastrous-Rise-9498

Depends if its some multiplayer game low grafics for sure if its game like god of war or witcher 3 def high graf and 60 fps
