After updating the game (I’m on xbox and own PL) icons for weapons, healing, grenades, clothes and cyberware have vanished. I have tried both reloading and restarting the game and both haven’t fixed the issue, any suggestions?

Yep me and a lot of other people are dealing with this glitch after “patch” all Xbox users
i got the exact same issue, only way i could solve this was by starting a new play through sadly, all other saves had this bug. On xbox too. Think something similar happened on the 1.2 patch and they released a hot fix but not sure how long it will take for that to come out
Series S and the same issue as i said before we have the wrong versione 2.0.0.5 instead of 2.01, so they messed up the xbox version of the game and we have several bugs
Yup, except Johnny clothes every other item is like this.

I fuckin bought the dlc a couple hours ago im pissed fuck. Turned off the game when i saw that shit. Ffs
A bug like this would be really hard to miss. Don’t they have any form of quality control or something? jeez…

for fucks sake.. – good job you can pause downloading of patches and updates on the PS5.. so this patch will be paused till there’s a fix for it. – I can deal with the bugs as they aren’t game breaking for me.
There’s a workaround! Make a manual save, close the game, then load the manual save. This should make the icons reappear until you load another save.
If someone from CDPR is reading this, the bug might stem from the loading sequence, where the icons are loaded at a much lower priority and are allowed to be skipped by the engine. Please fix 🙂
Edit: for a permanent fix, do a clean reinstall
Yeah… I loaded into the game. Weapon Wall was still not working. No call or anything about the pre order car, I was supposed to get. Then, this. ☝️😒😞😡
I keep waiting to do a second playthrough until they’ve fixed all of the bugs and the game is in it’s final state.

I had an update earlier this morning. I did some yardwork, came back inside to play a bit, and it won’t play without a 37gb update. Based on your post, I’m worried that my save filed on my xbox are screwed.
Is this just affecting Xbox players or everyone?
A “new” update is available on Xbox now. Hopefully this is the correct patch 🙂
A new update for the base game appeared (34gb FFS) just appeared, so hopefully that sorts it out.
My Xbox is re-updating the base game….fingers crossed.
So they fixed the game just to break it again… great I’m getting 16 MB speed on my update right now stuck on a 6-hour wait can’t cancel it fuck sake.
Yeap same here… and also my game is constantly crashing while going in it and also I was trying to do the Gary quest and whenever I approach him the game crashes…

Woo-hoo. An update that causes new bugs to pop up, my favorite.
Go check your game version, download the patch in the menu underneath, it will update to the correct version.
Oh man can’t wait to finish Phantom Liberty this evening- aaand they broke more.

Had the same issue here, but on PC. Uninstalling all mods fixed that. And reinstalling some of them haven’t been problematic so far.

Yo found the culprit.. on Xbox, the update was pushed automatically to *Phantom Liberty*. You need to click “manage game & add ons”, and from there you’ll see an update available for the base game.
Still struggling with other issues tho, my cyberware got downgraded to tier 1 ;-;
