Aren’t both numbers on the “upgrade” downgrades? You get less crit increase at max and it takes a longer distance to max it…

Yeah, shits wack. I’ve seen “upgrades” that lose a whole 30 points of armor lol. Something is definitely wrong with their system.

Upgrade previews don’t include bonuses from perks and character abilities.

This has been posted like, a *million* times.

You probably have a bonus to cyberwear effects from a Tech perk (All Things Cyber, maybe?).

Save, try the upgrade, and see if the updated *final* stats aren’t better. They are in 100% of cases I’ve seen.

It’s because it doesn’t preview perk bonuses, I had cyber ware that gave 115 armor but the upgrade gave 100, upgraded anyways and it became 125 or something.

I think that raise in price is an upgrade in this case.

Check like any of the other 10 posts per day on this

  7. CDPR: Yeah, but on this one we added a “+” in front of the “5”.

    Save and try

Btw i read this as “deep fried”

It’s a visual bug. After you upgrade, close game, and reopen, the correct higher values will show

I also com across a bug where my gorilla arms don’t count towards the cyberwear max count. Reloading saves helps or just abuse the extra 8 capacity points lol

Plenty of the “upgrades” weren’t. I have a sub dermal armor on my nomad that has its armor rating cut literally in half if I “upgrade” it. Hence I refuse to do so cuz the whole point of that cyberware piece is to increase ur armor rating.
