Not at all how it works. GPU mem temps will probably increase, or stay the same.
You’ve inhibited case airflow from flowing over the backplate, the cpu fan doesn’t magically create airflow below it!

Try using some thermal pads XD, on cpu full load probably is the cooler to heat the backplate, but while gaming could manage to keep them near 60 (if now they aren’t)
