New quickhack: Turn corpses into puppets to attack their friends

Zombies have been done to death.

It’s not a bad idea on paper but like it’s the same replay over and over again, cyberpsychosis is so much more interesting to me

Dr ~~Ned~~ Viktor sought to help ~~humanity~~ V, but ultimately ended causing very bad shit…

Man, zombies are like the most overdone thing.

Okay maybe not zombies… but what if there was just an ability you could acquire through the skill tree that allowed you to quick hack corpses that would just charge enemies? Or use their cyber ware against enemies? Idk seems like a cool gameplay element that could be implemented in a way that doesn’t screen zombies and fits into the lore. Totally fine without it but it could be cool if done right.

Is it those scavs in that one mission? I remember stashing them in fridges and stuff because their dead bodies wriggling freaked me out.

Zombies are so played out even Call of Duty is letting that shit die. We get it, mentally you’re stuck in 2013.

Not every game need zombies. Look at poor old cod for example.

They couldve had DLC of an unhinged net runner inducing cyberpsychosis on civilians to look like they are zombies. Maybe could’ve been a dlc orientated around maxtac. Somehow V gets caught up in it and they enlist their help.

  11. Just because some people think it’s overdone doesn’t mean it’s a bad idea. I’d love to see it personally, plus I’ve never seen zombies in a universe like this before!

While I don’t think zombies would be a good idea, I’d have an idea for it. Not a full blown DLC but maybe a sidequest where some experimental cyberware malfunctioned that caused bodies, even of dead and dismembered people, to still roam around and attack anyone on sight. Actually dead, but controlled by the cyberware and to stop it, the signal has to be destroyed or all zombies with the cyberware killed. Of course to make it challenging, the zombies would be sprinter-type zombies. Build for loud approach would work as well as stealth builds to sneak past the zombies and find the source of the signal.

    Nah, Techno-Necromancers from Alpha Centauri

A black ops style, bd game. Perks are implants, guns are well… guns, pack-a-punch could be ALT upgrading your guns at a terminal. Could be a cool idea

Ok so I was freaked out during this side quest that he kept moving!!!! Must be a bug. I dismembered him, nothing!
