You can see the zombies being middle eastern looking from this promotional image for the mode. Also the burger joint/petrol station being written in Arabic/Farsi.
Then you can also see the same pointy building in both of these images. The recent leak being the top picture.
So just letting you know, don’t expect Verdansk, this is again a new map that’s middle eastern themed. It mainly looks like Iran this time, somewhere in the Northern parts or maybe Tehran. Where as Al Mazrah was inspired by Iraq mostly and was made to resemble Baghdad in a way.

Forgot to include, Verdansk is the map for Warzone mobile. This is probably the main “selling point” for the game, they want people that miss Verdansk to get the mobile version. So they won’t include it in the main title, maybe parts of it will be in the campaign but that’s about it. Sorry to ruin your hopes, but that recent leak just proved the new map will be middle eastern themed again.

Thats the firewatch building that is on verdansk, al maz and aparently the new map as well. They reuse assets. Very common. You read too much from this imo

It’s an urban setting without much sand (from what we can see.) I’m in.
