hey guys what do y’all recommend as far as the length goes for your desk. i have 1 monitor and maybe will be upgrading to dual eventually. i’m going for a clean/minimal setup and i’m torn between 6 or 8 ft. thanks !

i have a 6ft butcher block for my setup with 2 monitors and it’s definitely enough. it really matters on how much space you have

Hey! I have a 200cm / 6.5ft desk from IKEA.
Initially I thought it would be plenty enough. But you gotta consider your monitor size as well.
I currently have 2 32” inch 4K monitors, a PC, and a laptop. Unfortunately all these won’t fit at my desk. It looks and feels too cramped so I remove one of my monitors for the time-being.
So yeah, if you have 2 huge ass monitors like me. Definitely get the 8ft version.
8 Ft. I work from home so I’ve got enough space for my personal computer and work computer. If you go 8 ft get the leg to keep it from sagging
8 foot or L shape, I personally like my worksetup at 90° to my personal setup.
I bought an 9′ and cut it down to 7′ because that what they had in Menards. I use a 32″ and a 27″ in portrait mode and have a pair of Fluance Ai41’s and my pc up top.
