That’s actually not even the most significant problem with this gun.
Notice how the magazine is way up in front of the trigger, but the opening on the action is at approximately the same place as a normal handgun?
The barrel would be in the way. The action wouldn’t even be able to strip rounds out of the mag in the first place.

Easily. The magazine is triangular shape, probably could fit 8 rounds in it if it has 2 columns
The top round slides backwards, and then is pushed up into the loader, which pushed it forward into the chamber. That’s 1 round in the chamber and one in the midbody. 10 rounds

The real answer is they just didn’t properly model a magazine for that caliber. Even if you removed the magazine spring, you’d fit maybe 4 or 5 rounds in there. There’s absolutely no way it could fit 10 rounds of .577

Nevermind that, how can V use it without cyberware? It was made for Johnny’s left arm and the right hand usage in his memories can be due to overlap between minds, but V has a seemingly normal human arm and uses it without fucking up their shoulder.
