My shout out is to Stamin’ Up. While it usually makes folks top tens, I often see it getting out-classed by perks like Widow’s Wine and Speed Cola. Which are incredible perks, don’t get me wrong.
However Stamin’ Up always is necessary for me, sometimes even before Speed Cola (depending on the map). Especially for reaching high rounds. If I’m running around with an LMG, and zombies are at top speed… I just can’t afford to be slowed down based on what weapon I’m carrying. Stamin’ Up offers much more flexibility and control when training.
Origins without Stamin’ Up is a Mr. Mackey “bad time.”
Speed Cola is necessary for me on maps that have tight corridors, or training areas with little to no escape routes. However, occasionally I pass on it when it comes down to only having x4 perks.
Quick Revive is another perk that I see in top 5’s often but frankly, I’d always prefer to have a perk that helps prevents me from dying vs. a perk that saves me when I do. That said, I typically buy Quick Revive on maps that I’m not familiar with yet while I’m still getting to know the layout.

Timeslip may not be the BEST perk, but damn it feels good spinning the box and Pack-a-Punching faster.
Honestly my favorite perk, I just wish it had a unique jingle (same for the other BO4 perks)!

Winters wail on BO4. I like that a random swipe doesn’t set it off like widows wine and it activates when you actually need it. Sure you can’t get more back but because of that aspect I always seem to have winters wail and always seem out of wine grenades.
Stamin-up has always been good but it was never a priority perk for me…until CW max tier Stamin Up…bruh i sometimes buy that in Outbreak before anything else
Timeslip isn’t often the best as far as build-crafting goes, but holy shit is BO4 unplayable without it. It should honestly just be on by default in every match. Everything is so slow in that game (except zombie respawning they could’ve toned that down a tad or ten)
The perks of Quick Revive in Cold War. Free self rez with a kill, faster health recovery, revive downed teammates faster… everyone talks about the newer perks but I look back a few years and don’t think QR got the recognition it deserved.
