Playing this game after building my first PC made my jaw drop honestly it looks better than real life sometimes

I agree. As someone who grew up in one of the world’s largest cities, the whole vibe felt like an actual city something which most video games failed to do. That is if you put your crowd density to the max. Got a lot of nostalgia when I roamed around the streets of Night City.
I was wandering back alleys yesterday and it’s crazy how much detail is in each and every place. Places totally off the cuff and they are full of life and character. I could take screenshots everywhere and use them as wallpapers, thats how beautiful this game is.
I don’t know what kind of wizardry is going on under the hood, but this game looks outstanding on my 5 year old PC and it maintains stable 60 FPS in 1080p on high details. The Red Engine might be janky at times, but from a technical perspective, this thing is an insane achievement.
it really is. but since i found out you cant even pick a color of your care emy enjoyment level dropped harshly.
i like to get a nice car and mod it to my liking(im not asking for bumbers and spoilers but jesus let me pick color/already existing variant) and just drive around to relax. i thought this game was gonna replac gta v for me in this way. city is gorgeous, cooler and with more interesting arrchitecture.
but that lack of customization drives me crazy, especially since games has coolest looking cars ive seen in a game/movie.
and since its fps always without even regular vidya cutscenes what do i care about clothes they keep adding that i only see in inventory screen? or color of apartments you spent >1% game time in lmao.
they wasted time on that and didnt give us only piece of cosmetic customization we could actually see(especially that this content obviously already is in game)
such a shame big L, they had 3 damn years

Night City is an art piece.
You can talk about how interactive or shallow the city actually is, sure. But just visually, it’s absolutely unparalleled in gaming. There are so many moments playing where I just turn a corner and the vibe of the city just hits so hard.
Yeah man, night city is by far the most alive, vibrant and immersive video game city I have ever experienced. Sometimes I just stop, and look around, the quality of the world building just is stunning

It’s a beautiful and amazingly designed city, but it doesn’t feel like a city, not compared to something like gta V. Still love it tho, i like pretty colors

I came outside of a building and saw one of the cars that was there when I went inside had been involved in a hit and run. A cop was there writing notes on it. Wtf, these details are so cool
The only open world game where I’ll go to a fast travel point with the intention of teleporting across the map and then think nah I’d rather just drive it.
Night City deserves to always win because it looks so good.
Yup I love it. I’m always gushing at how beautiful and real the city looks. It’s very immersive.
