Well I don’t think it was bad, just brought down by its surroundings. I think it was pretty good, besides taking out the og mob crew (besides Weasel technically but still)

It’s one of those maps where I just say “Yeah that one exists” in a neutral way. The new areas are cool but make the map feel so bloated, they should’ve eliminated the docks or that lower area since it’s barely used if at all.
The Cat-walk is a really cool spectacle, but for the first couple of times, it really lost its luster and feels like it’s cinematic to be cinematic and that’s it. It doesn’t feel fluid to the other points of the map. I think that more so due to like I said, the map being very bloated.
The fast-travel is so poorly set-up, up that I honestly rarely use it.
The Warden’s home doesn’t feel like a necessary area.
Easter Egg is really painful (I’ve heard it was fixed and new steps were found so this could be allieviate)
. The pack-a-punch moving. Like why? The removal of the Golden Gate Bridge
WW is amazing, MotD layout for everything else is always a positive, some really neat traps, one of the first awesome ass shields
I think fixing the map would be eliminating the docks area and the Warden’s House, not moving the pack-a-punch, and laying out fast-travel from spawn to cafeteria and somewhere around the Warden’s Office to the lower area. Tweaking the Easter Egg steps to be less RNG and tedious

There should’ve been a pathway or portal that connects the docks to the lab area. As it stands, having to go from one end of the island to the other is extremely time-consuming, given the quest design in this map.
Teleporting PAP is tiresome. Just make it so that you can summon PAP to any of the three locations (for an extra cost).
The quest steps with random spawning stuff (like the 37 bird locations) are just mindnumbingly stupid. Make the locations meaningful and not random for the sake of prolonging playtime. Provide hints that are actually relevant and not some random ass BS like “the light in the distance is blinking the correct Morse code sequence”.

Making the shield not required for literally everything, better fast travel, have a way to switch the hells retriever with your loadout grenades, keep the golden gate bridge as it was in mob, keep afterlife. BO4 aether maps have a problem of stripping all the fun features and replaces it with basic features, no afterlife, no falling perks, no pentagon thief no George.

Pap is really annoying, would have preferred the golden gate again but oh well. Its not honestly as bad as others say though.

The magma gat effects could have looked way cooler. A little Magma ball on the floor somehow attracting and killing tons of zombies just isn’t as appealing to me as other wonder weapon effects. It would be cool if it made a mini volacano eruption happened like with the lava bow.
