It’s more of a dice roll whether it will glitch or not. Pretty sure I picked the first dialogue and it still bugged out
Yeah, this is a very common issue with the new update, I had to go back about an hour and 15 minutes of grinding to fix it.
Is it really a bug though? If you say fucked in the head, then your head gets fucked up.

oh its only that option? I wasted 7 hours of progress and found the fix myself yesterday I just assumed we are to always pick the 1st dialogue of 1st and 2nd dialogue options.
If you *did* pick it, you can install [this mod](https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/9219?tab=description), launch the game, make a save, exit the game, uninstall the mod, and launch the game again. That fixed it for me.
Y’all need to learn how to quick save more often lol

This happened to me and I thought something was strange as I didn’t remember it happening on my previous run. I looked it up and went back to pick the other option and it didn’t happen again. I lost about an hour.
An old trick to fix it is also to drink a bunch of booze before the cutscene. The drunk effect has a higher load order on the camera and prevents the glitch from happening at all.
I’m not sure if it’s happened to anyone else, but after reloading a save and picking the other dialogue option; i’ve lost all ambient sound. Even if I load my 100 hr save, there’s no more background sound/music. I sent a bug report to CDPR, such an unfortunate glitch. Guess it’s back to starfield for now, for me.
LOL I just did this bit and kept playing up until Fingers when I tried to reload but the glitch stayed. Ended up reloading to the autosave just before this convo and didn’t choose that option this time just to speed things along.
Drinking Alcohol will remove the effect.

I had this problem in my last playthrough (1.63), it disappeared after saving and restarting the game.

This also happens on console ps5 i also lost an entire day of progress.
I had this same problem. However, causing another visual effect fixes the bug. In other words, get blackout drunk and let the effect ride out. Worked for me.
Also there is a mod on the nexus (updated for 2.0) that simply removes the glitch effect entirely.
I also found that skipping scenes while glitching can cause this too sometimes.
Pretty sure I selected the fucked in the head option and didn’t stay glitched (series x) but I have been careful not to skip

Also affecting PS5 version. Lost roughly half an hour of gameplay due to this.
There’s a worse bug going around currently which makes your character permanently invincible, completely ruining the fun or challenge of the game. Only solution is to load a save before the bug occurred and I don’t even know what the cause is

How far is this into the game? Just started playing. Does it affect PS5?
Currently 40 hours into a save file and have this on it. I’m not going back I’ll just deal with it 😞
