I got in to a fight with a bunch of maelstrom in the street the earlier in the day. Made the mistake of activating sandevistan just as a civilian suv hit me from behind and knocked me to the ground. The majority of my sandevistan was spent watching a maelstrom member with mantis blades slowly turn to face me, activating their own, and pouncing on me all while everything else was in slow mo.

Actually, yeah, because Supes isn’t as fast as The Flash and even when enemies pop their implants, dashing, bullet deflects and parries give you an insurmountable advantage.
