RTSS and GPU-Z both reading an 800w draw, reporting error or what?

For context this is an MSI Gaming X Trio 4090. I have flashed the 1000w Strix BIOS onto it for fun, and it performs well, but I have some ercs about the power draw readings. I bought a new third party 4×8 connector to my 1300w PSU to replace the one in the box, but from what I’ve heard the connector itself will limit the power? Any thoughts on this or possible reasons why?
The first two pics are from the same session using the FurMark ~~Power Virus~~ Stress Test. The last pic is from running 3DMark Port Royal, and with various games will top out at 500-600w like a normal card would. Keeping the voltage stock keeps the temps down very well especially on the OC I have it set to.
I have immediately seized any more synthetic tests and will probably reflash to a more standard 600w Suprim Liquid X vBIOS because I need to gain my display ports back.

It’s real. Please don’t run FurMark on 1000W BIOS unless you want to kill your card.
