We already knew that about the base game, but I’m happy to see critics say it’s probably the strongest ending.
But I don’t remember if we knew that PL itself has two different endings, which is what I find the most interesting.

This is why I tend to be a tad more forgiving towards the first game of a new IP (let’s be honest, Cyberpunk 2077 will have plenty of sequels). It takes time to figure out the tone and the gameplay (see Witcher) but when you do, it’s good. They fucked up the launch but they got to work and they pulled a NMS.

Finnaly someone that did 100% and did all endings

Wow, even with 2.0 added, I didn’t expect that from Gamespot given their rating of the base game at the time.

I kinda hope it’s *not* an >!actual cure for V. As much as I personally like to have an “everyone lives happily ever after” ending to try and earn, I don’t think it really fits the narrative for CP2077. Hopeful endings are fine, but an actual cure? Just feels…off. Wrong city, wrong people, and all that.!<

will we be able to get PL ending if we start playing before dlc releases?
Rafcdk
its probably a cure or something that will extend Vs life for a longer time so the continual procedural quest system makes sense with the story.

I played a morally good male Corpo V and got the Panam on the Basilisk ending. Bittersweet considering V’s ticking clock but there was something uplifting about getting a small amount of time away from Night City to just be content and happy around loved ones. And that music 🥲
So I’m curious to load up that save file once Phantom Liberty is out to see if that version of V gets an even better ending. And also to checkout the 2.0 updates on a post-game save.
But I’ll also be starting a totally fresh brand new playthrough with either a Nomad or Streetkid origin and experiencing the game fresh in that way.
Can’t wait for tomorrow!

Excited by the fact the mentioned Dogtown being “dense”, love how big NC is but looking forward to having a smaller playground to try out the new builds and mow down ~~civilians~~ enemies

LordMarvic
If anyone knows this new ending please DM me. Yeah, I’m that curious.

How is the AI combat changes? Is the end boss harder now (forgot his name)
Itz_Hen
Oh we are SO back
( But obviously i will never pick anything other then panam romance ending=
TheHAMR64
I’m assuming this ending will be the cannon ending moving forward? It would be odd if CDPR made an entirely new ending for it not be cannon in some capacity.
Cyber_Swag
So are there new sex scenes or not? (Not talking about romances)
ChilledWolf96
Two different routes for the expansion story? I assume V can choose between loyalty to Myers and Songbird or Reed.
Yosonimbored
So it isn’t just a re do of the other normal endings/secret ending but a brand new one? Curious how to activate it
Username-67272827
will the endings put more emphasis on choices you make or will it be similar to the normal game? in case anyone knows

“inconsistent tone” is the weakest criticism one could offer. Bodes well.
