Along with the 2.0 release date announcement, they released a 2.0 build planner that has all the new perks in it.

So no crafting?
Pretty cool they let you plan it out beforehand, though for me, I’m going to go in completely blind at expansion release.
Yea this is going to be great to plan out a build for a run.
This looks way more fleshed out than the launch skill trees.
There are some references to the anime if anyone wants to look for them.
If you don’t want to search, >!Edgerunners perk at the top of Technical Ability (David), Live Wire subperk at the top left of Intelligence (Lucy) and Die! Die! Die! perk at the bottom left of Body (Reb). Tell me if I missed anything.!<
So everything uses stamina? Wtf
Did they remove cold blood?
Monowire netrunner, here we go!
if anyone is interested about stamina and shooting, a gamespot journalist had already played 2.0 and said this about it:
>Another notable change that fits into combat is the new stamina system. It is no longer tied to sprinting (so you can sprint forever); stamina is now spent when you shoot a gun, swing or block with a melee weapon, or dash. The different types of health inhalers and injectors are subject to a cooldown timer that refreshes your two charges, so you no longer have to stock up on health items to restore HP (you just equip the one health item you prefer). These may seem odd on paper, but they affect the way you navigate big fights by pushing you to be more thoughtful with your approach, further emphasizing the RPG ethos.
and from PCGamer:
> Now, even shooting consumes stamina, and not having a lot of it can apparently affect your accuracy. I haven’t noticed any negative effects in my firefights yet, but it’s early.
Am i blind or are there no stealth perks?
We finally have proper Smart Gun perks, and they look pretty interesting. Was kinda hoping for one to be able to shoot Tyger Claws/Arasaka agents properly, but I can live with this.
do we already know if knifes are (still) considered blades?
So wait am I understanding correctly that all perks from the “only affects blades/blunt weapons” tree also work with mantis blades and gorilla arms? Because they didn’t show the blocking feature with mantis blades or doing a quake with gorilla arms in the footage.
edit: i just now noticed that the quake icon literally has the dude smashing the ground with his fist. so it must be correct then.
Can’t wait to see how op netrunner will be and my monowire to slice and dice
I couldn’t help but notice how very generous the new tree is with the amount of Perk Points you get. It doesn’t look like you have to be too careful and too choosy with where you assign your points. You’ll have plenty to go around, and then some.
I’m confused by the total number of perks available. Is it factoring in perk shards to get 80 in total? Or is it going to give more perks at different levels to get to 80 perk points within 60 levels?
I want to do stealth netrunner again, but nothing else. Under intelligence I probably go into left and middle tree, then under cool in the middle stealth tree and under tech the middle cyberware tree. But I don’t have a clue where to put the remaining points. In the old systems you could do more specialized builds where you could invest in various passive bonuses to support your playstlye. It seems in the new system they want you to combine more different things instead of specializing into one thing.
wow, can’t wait till it exit a new katana build now that we can reflect bullets
Am I crazy, or did they remove crafting from the skill tree? Because that was a huge waste of points and I love it if true
So going over Humanity limit is -25% hp? Doesn’t seem THAT bad. Unless the skill tree is not showing the full picture.
Fuck, a whole week of waiting.
Man i didnt want to do another netrunner with smart guns build but do these new skills looks dope. Shit, here we go again…
Does the arm cannon scale with something now?
I may be in the minority but I’m not thrilled of some these changes. My build was perfected and I was OP and it was fun. I haven’t done a full deep dive yet, but my build seems to be gone. And now I have to worry about stamina when firing guns? Doesn’t sound fun. Also I like overloading cyberware now I get debuffed… I don’t’ care if that fits cannon better.. its a video game, fun > cannon.
All I wanted was more content and NG+. Oh well.
I also never cared about cops. Seems like a pain more than anything imo. This isn’t GTA (which I used wanted cheats regularly).
So… I actually didn’t like it. Everything now seems to be about stacks and stamina, I didn’t know I was playing borderlands again farming for maxing out stacks before every goddamn fight. The first time I finished the game I was level 19 on very hard and only had to spend like 10 perks at most and I really hope it stays like this or I at least hope they didn’t make stacking as boring as it was in borderlands.
The synergies seem very much focused around specific archetypes now so there’s less opportunity to freestyle your build. Also tech and smart guns got some love but I can’t see anything for ricochet so I assume that’s still terrible.
