The music was fucking phenomenal! Holy fuck!

  2. You know they really should consider using the same animation team to produce a Cyberpunk set of series using CGI. Different seasons different stories would exist. The Witcher is done, so why not Cyberpunk? If I was an accredited investor, I’d approach them with this idea pitch Then I bet production costs would be much cheaper than the Witcher 😭

That was really beautiful. The clothing change of Solomon was really well done. Also captures the essence of Cyberpunk in minutes.

  4. Holy fuck! That’s epic! The music, the intrigue, voice acting too. Cannot wait!

Nice to see a “cinematic” trailer for something actually uploaded in a 21:9 aspect ration off the bat.

Also, holy hell, the facial animation and rendering here is insane

  6. neon_sin

They are gonna release 2.0 after the stream aren’t they? 👀

  7. tuff1728

Anybody pick up on the easter egg Idris mentioned in that one shot on the train?

  8. Too bad there are no cinematics in the game.

The game would be much better if we had cutscenes like this during the main events.

  9. TerminalThiccness

So I assume Songbird is Solomon Reed’s “Johnny” but he somehow managed to keep her from consuming his mind.

I appreciate the insight it gives us into the characters.

  11. Kazundo_Goda

I want it right now, and right inside my throbbing cock veins.

  12. Kubrick_Fan

Idris and the hacker looked like real people, holy crap

  13. pixelated_avatar

Can’t trust Netrunners bro, whether its the Voodoo Boys from the base game, Kiwi from EdgeRunners now Songbird…

  14. gravejello

Everything about this is insane. You can just sense the immediate tension and betrayal in both actors.

  15. Crafty_Soul

Wonder if they used soulkiller on Solomon and it’s going to turn out he somehow got out to take revenge. Then V and Johnny find him and he helps them find a way to split themselves to new bodies without either dying.

… ok that second part might be wishful thinking for a happy ending in 2077 but hey a man can dream.

  16. Maszpoczestujsie

The music during fight scene is great, heavy Deus Ex vibes

  17. I’m intrigued as fuck over So Mi’s betrayal.

  18. Idris Elba just started reading the death flag list aloud, didn’t he?

    * I’m finally leaving night city!
    * I’m going back home!
    * I remember my childhood!
    * I’m gonna marry my childhood sweetheart!
    * I’m one day from retirement!

Pretty sure that’s like an ancient summoning chant for hitmen

What I like about this is it is immediately makes it seem like a strong possibility that Reed is the game’s true antagonist. He’s organised the President’s plane crash as part of a revenge scheme. But showing these events upfront makes that seem like it’s TOO obvious a twist…so maybe not? It keeps you uncertain, which a spy story should.

  20. Cyberpunk + Idris Elba.

    What more could you want.

  21. Famlightyear

That train fight scene hit different. Cyberpunk CGI movie when?

  22. runetrantor

As someone thats coming in to play for the first time with this expansion and update, should I know these characters by now (As in, they are from the base game) or they new and I am not missing any context?

  23. Piankhy444

What a great trailer. I can already tell this expansion is about to be crazy.

  24. Sinisterkrex

Have a feeling we’re going to have to choose between Soloms and that new ending

  25. macallen

We’re past the uncanny valley it seems, that looked amazing.

  26. If we ever get a movie in this style I’ll buy everyone a ticket for opening night.

  27. throway78965423

Already invested in Solomon and Songbird’s story but this trailer leads me to believe the real Solomon is in fact dead and the one we see in game is someone else.

  28. Corporate_Bankster

They did my man Solomon dirty

I am fucking siding with you brother

  29. I know it’s CG and not in engine… but holy crap those facial models are insane. From the skin creases to the individual nose hairs to the reflections off of the eyes.

  30. Abolition-of-Man

Damn good trailer. Props to the CDPR CGI team for really nailing down Idris

  31. This_Sand_6314

Okay this was great, like some of the best 4 minutes of cinema i saw this year

  32. Dreadxyz

Ok, now I have to watch something to scratch the itch? But what, can you give me some suggestions?
