box WWs and gadgets are needed often in blundell maps as well, don’t think it counts a con just for jimmy.
to add, bo3 maps required the specialist weapons and bo4 maps (easier rng wise to obtain) needed AATs

Jimmys maps felt more interesting then blundells in my opinion. However, as you said blundell had better features for his maps. Imagine moon with a blundell type Easter egg, or buried. Even tranzit for gods sake, like I know everyone agrees it’s bad and objectively it is but jimmy had a unique idea and I respected it. Like the post apocalyptic atmosphere of tranzit does it for me as it is.
I guess overall blundell did have a better rep, but we can’t forget the classics that jimmy created and made us fall in love with the game

Unfortunately neither are an option anymore. I was really hoping Blundell would create some masterpiece at deviation but that didn’t happen so… just wait for new talent to make it to the top?
