Yes it should be any day now and will change/improve a lot I’m itching to start a new playthrough (haven’t played since launch) but am holding off til 2.0

Eh, maybe play through the tutorial just to get a taste, I’d imagine most of the new systems won’t really come into effect until you hit the open world proper. It’s not like you’ll have the levels/skill points/money to really start digging into it all anyways.

I played the prologue …till the beginning of Act 2 after the heist it was awesome and now I’m waiting to really get into the game

its basically a rewrite of the game, I wouldn’t play it without the DLC either. The new ending and new skill tree are going to change everything. All i do now is drive around to synthwave with agro turned off. Haven’t played a singe quest or shot a gun since PL was announced. Cant wait until the 27th!

No one knows, so do whatever you like to do. PL can be started during the run, there is no advantage or disadvantage of starting it right now … or after PL.

I’d wait. It’s not that far off, what’s 2 weeks at most after a few years?
CutMeLoose79
If I hadn’t already played it, yes

Bought the game in EA… just came back to it for reasons (re: Starfield)… had no clue about 2.0 or PL… Just about to do end-game for the 1x time… will still restart for 2.0/PL… so many changes it would seem.

Yes, the game’s not going anywhere and it’s better to start at the improved state. Depending on how sure you are that you’ll like it (and your disposable income) I might consider waiting for the expansion as well, but that’s a hard sell if you’re completely new. For perspective, I’m planning to start a whole new save when the expansion comes out.

If you want to. I got the game last month so I could finish a play-through before it comes out

Like when I bought the game at 1.5, I will wait for other people to do the bug hunting for me. Maybe after a few months.

Yes that’s what I am doing

Considering 2.0 should be there next week, yes, I’d wait.

I would, but then again I’d probably just wait for the expansion too and play through everyone in one go. It’s not that far away. The update alone is substantial enough though.

Holy shit I think this is the 27,000 post I’ve seen asking this exact same question this week.

Finishing all watson gigs before the pickup to prep for the new update.

If you want to see what it was like before, this is your chance.

I am. Its time to finally dig in and I think the new talent trees and dlss 3.5 will make it a better experience. I was really hoping to net a $20 sale on it (anyone remember the ps4/xbox sale? 🙁 ) but I wont hold my breath.
