I’d have Diego recruit a celebrity cast like another commenter said, and I would have Medusa steal the statues and bring them to the library of Alexandria. Then, Diego and the team arrive at the library stealthily while Medusa activates the sentinel artifact of Ra, similar to how we saw in IX. We also see that Medusa has the cultists of IX helping her on whatever she plans to do, and it’s the crew’s job to find out what it is and also stop her.
Cultists and Sphinx would be the boss enemies of the map, and the cultists would be able to use magic from long ranges, but I’m gonna have a side quest that makes it so you can upgrade the shield to universally shut down the magical abilities.
Our crew finds out that when all four sentinel artifact trials are complete, Typhon may be summoned and that’s what Medusa is trying to do.
The main easter egg quest will have us finding hieroglyphics that depict Typhon destroying the world with Medusa resurrecting him, and we get these hieroglyphs from summoning and defeating the Egyptian gods within the map. Ra, Anubis, Serket, and Osiris. They will be boss fights and they are invulnerable except for the wonder weapons of the map that each pertain to them. Don’t know what they would be but they would have the theme of each god like in AE.
Medusa succeeds when we complete the Easter egg as our crew took too long to defeat the gods, and we have a big boss fight against Typhon, and it’s only accessible if you’ve done all other chaos Easter eggs. The fight will be similar in difficulty to Mephistopheles from IW.
