Friend “forgot” to mention that the secret ending gets set on like the hardest difficulty, got folded 3 times in the first room. Any advice on what I should improve?

You should get to max level and max out your reflexes for better Cyberware, same with body and if you can then get to level 18 in Tech to craft legendary heatsinks for like a 2 second cooldown on your Sandevistan. Other than that I would swap lynx paws for double jump and get legendary sub dermal armor, and overall just rethink your Cyberware because I see a lot that could be swapped for something that would help you a lot more.

The ennemies are capped to max level (50) during that specific ending and this V is level 33. That’s the first problem 😀

Might I recommend a comrades hammer?

Well, first thing’s first: you gotta get your level up to 50. 33 is way, way too low a level to tackle that particular mission. Once you get to 50, max out your cyberware for your level; a lot of your stuff works, but it’s underleveled for “Don’t Fear the Reaper”. The only cyberware I’d suggest outright replacing is the blood vessels in the circulatory system (out-of-combat healing speed shouldn’t be a problem when you reach level 50) and improved body armor; you can get the legendary body armor from Dr. Chrome in the Kabuki circle.

As for your current build, it’s not ideal, but the beauty of this game is that at level 50, you don’t need to be ideal to be really, really, *ridiculously* powerful. So here would be my build suggestion: don’t put any more points into Intelligence, and boost your stats to Bod 18/Ref 18/Tech 18/Cool 13. With only 55 perk points spent, you can quite easily get another 50 if you level up your skills and get to 50; as a rule, I never do “Don’t Fear the Reaper” before I have about 105-107 perk points. And at those levels, you will have access to some quite devastating cyberware (Second Heart, legendary Heal-on-Kill, legendary Microrotors) that will really increase your dps and survivability across the board. You’ll also be able to build the absolute best weapons in the game.

After that, the only thing I’d recommend is that your V get better armor. As a rule, I try to have endgame armor somewhere around 1900 minimum; 2200 or more is where I like to set my standard.

50 is a tad bit over kill when I played

I came in at 45 and everyone was down with a few bullets (I didn’t even have an optimized build or weapons)

You’re extremely underleveled, I wouldn’t go in until you’re at least level 40 or so. Don’t use Johnny’s pistol. Cool as it is, it’s just not a viable weapon late game. Get something automatic with a high mag capacity, even if you’re not speced for automatic weapons, being able to spray and pray is always helpful. Put mods and attachments on your weapons, you’d be surprised how much of a difference they make. Get better Cyberware for your hands, the tat is cool, but effectively useless.

  7. Dude, you’re level 33. You’re going to get creamed.

Max level best upgraded gear you can get your hands on and lots of frag grenades. Ozob nose if you have it

Track down or craft the legendary “crunch” mod for your weapons and fill up every slot with that one. It makes a big difference.

I just finished a Very Hard playthrough with a hacking build. Honestly the first room was the hardest part of the entire mission. Lots of points into crafting, tech weapons, and quick hacks. Being on level is super important, otherwise things 1 shot you.

Then get yourself a Quasar and shoot through cover. GG EZ

You have no mods on your best weapons, you have white level clothes, and you are level 33. You should do all the gigs and ncpd hustles to level up and get more buffs and abilities before trying the level 50 ending.

  13. EvilSynths

You should be easily max level by the end of the game.

I’m currently working toward it and trying a QianT Sandevistan Mk. 4 build. I have a screenshot of another redditors comment on what they used. I haven’t tried it since I was level 30 something but I’m willing to share if you’re interested!

dont even attempt that ending until you are level 50

also you have to administrate your items perfectly bc you are literally dying. you start with 25% of your max hp gone. and you lose another 1% at random intervals every time a relic malfunction occurs

I’m pretty sure it doesn’t change the difficulty or the only thing I noticed is that your health does drain throughout. Your problem is that you’re lvl 33. At lvl 50 it’s a breeze to just kill everyone.

Swap the double barrel for a rifle or something with more rounds to it. The Widowmaker is a good option. The Malorian 3516 is fine, long as you got her maxed out on upgrades. The Katana is good too, just upgrade the fuck outta it as well.

Next, you need to either buy, find, or craft some MaxDoc MK3’s, lots of them, and swap out the grenades for optical camouflage. You also need to get clothes with better armor. If you don’t have it already, get the second heart cyberware, it’ll save your ass.

You also need to move quickly. No standing around taking in the beauty of the place, or the excitement. Your priority is to get to the mainframe and Jack Alt in. Once she’s jacked in she’ll handle any leftover enemies, aside from Adam Smasher, but his boss battle really isn’t that hard. Just keep a good distance from him, and use long range weapons that do a lot of damage. And watch out for the few standard NPC enemies that come in during the boss. Alt won’t be able to take care of them for you, as she’s taking care of netrunner attacks.

Do all this, and you should be fine. Good luck OP.

A few things, your weapons aren’t modded, your armor probably doesn’t have all armadillo mods either, and you are only level 33. I’m not the best cyberpunk player but I always make sure I’m level 50 before attempting any ending.
