its actually pretty good to see, VOIP has been a pretty intentional blackhole for moderation for way too long.

If it will stop people from calling each other the N word or the F word, fine by me. Battlebit is heavily moderated and it’s fantastic using voice chat in that game for the most part. It’s at least infinitely better than what CoD is 95% of the time, if people use voice chat.

Looks to be like one of the best multiplayer improvements they’ve made in the last decade to me.
I played a few shipment matches, and total silence besides one kid chewing some chips. Maybe they’ll start banning people that chew loudly on their mics. That’s worse than hearing a few insults.
From what I’ve read, they supposedly aren’t recording anything and the AI is just analyzing it realtime. But since they can’t implement anything right, let’s all just assume it’s accidentally being livestreamed over AM radio in about 30 countries around the world.
