– You can either have a Sandevistan or do cyberhacks. Can’t have both.
– You can reslot perk points but not skill points so plan your build ahead of time. (You can’t get all the iconic stuff without an 18 in Tech Ability for example).
– If anyone dies, send their body to their family.
– If you end up in any skyscrapers, make sure to check the roof, even if you feel rushed to leave.

PLAY ALL OF THE SIDE QUESTS FIRST. the game paces very fast, so be careful you dont progress. There is a point of no return. Other than that, id suggest picking up anything and everything and craft those upgrades. granted everything will change in a month if you get Phantom Liberty.

Play side quests more, WAY more, trust me, there alot of fun in them. And mantis blades too op, ruining immersion. I playing on hardest, but feels like mid lvl.Replay with mods, or, and different styles of playtrough reccomended

A DLC (you have to buy it) called a Phantom Liberty will be released in about a month’s time. In addition, there will be a patch that will upgrade the game to v2.0 that essentially changes a great many things. For example the perk tree is revamped. So it will be a substantially different game in terms of gameplay. This patch is due to drop just before phantom liberty becomes available.
So if you start a new game now, be aware that in about a month’s time you need to forget some stuff and learn new stuff. So bear that in mind when you start playing.

Save often. Learn to abuse the hell out of crafting. Check every nook and cranny. Go to different ripperdocs, they offer different upgrades. Get a box of tissues next to you, for varying purposes.
