He also is outlined by the Cyberware that shows what enemies detect you. I know that’s partially due to how the coding works, but I think it’s also intentional

He doesn’t think you are a treat.

Which leads to two paths of thought.
1. Intentional Story Beat, or bug?
2. If intended, why does he stay silent?
For #2 my guess would be payday, he doesn’t work for Saboru, and he’s not tasked with getting you, so he just watches and as long as you do nothing, neither will he.

Even before the theory popped up. During my first playthrough I noticed him staring and my immediate thought was, Fuck.

I’ll never understand why so many people spell definitely as defiantly. I know autocorrect is part of it but you have to be really far off in the first place for defiantly to come into play

My head cannon is that he has an implant that detects heart beat elevations and pheromones in simple terms, he found us cause he smells our fear

Even without the threat detector if you look at Smasher dude is staring straight at you burning a hole through the wall which explains why V and Jackie get blamed because remember the cameras are disabled in the room thanks to the flathead and T-bug, so in my head cannon Smasher told Yorinorbu about us inside the wall that and trauma team shooting at us while we’re trying to get away.

V and Jacky is the perfect scapegoat for Yorinobu to kill Saburo. Just think about that. They knew the whole time.

What? You mean the heist was actually set up by Yorinobu so he had a patsy for when he killed his father. Nah, that’s unheard of.

I figured the reason he doesn’t make a big deal out of you being there is simply because he thinks his job will be more interesting with some chaos in the higher echelons of Arasaka. Some people to fight. A new reason to kill. A good time for a bored cyberpsycho.
