I don’t think I’m alone in saying Chaos’ cancellation was one of the worst things to happen to Call of Duty Zombies.

Chaos is ∞’ times better than the Dark Aether storyline we have now, down from the story, to the set pieces, to the characters, the enemies, etc..

It had so much potential, yet it wasn’t even acknowledged by the community (in a positive light), yet now its praised. I’m aware Reddit is strictly the vocal minority of the overall Call of Duty Zombies playerbase but I think “Zombies Youtubers” are the reason Call of Duty Zombies is where it is now. And where it is now is at an all-time low.

You don’t have to agree, this is strictly my opinion yet I know I’m not alone. The first thing Treyarch should focus on with Call of Duty 2024 is getting their shit straight.

Farewell Chaos, you will be missed.

As a send-off, and a little glimmer of hope. I’m aware Chaos is never returning in an official state, so I hope its legacy is continued in “Custom Zombies”. something worth partaking in 😉

Not sure if it’s the biggest blunder but it’s definitely bad

The maps are truly beautiful and are really great and have such a good atmosphere, loved the ambience they have. I should say, I think that before Dead of The Night and Ancient Evil, the story kinda seemed lost and the characters were actually annoying and I’m admittedly not sure if the shift in their writing was intentional to reflect the story or just the devs changing the writing style

I agree, it left us on a big cliffhanger and is annoying that there is no proper ending.

The main reason people didn’t like Chaos was because it took priority over Aether during its finalie.

If Treyarch focused on completing Aether, it is a satisfying way (eg, not just remaking maps) and then moving on to Chaos. It would have been far more positively received

  4. The cancellation of BO4 Season 2 as a whole really. We got fucked out of an actual satisfying ending for BOTH storylines, the unfinished super easter egg, Alpha Omega as a free map & Zombie Chronicles 2
