That guy covering for him is an idiot.
It just means he got shadowbanned, not that he was cheating. They added the Ricochet bit recently to show when a player is shadowbanned.
Spam reporting still exists, and people are still wrongly shadowbanned.
Note that I’m not saying this guy WASN’T cheating. I’ve seen no gameplay to confirm or deny that he was. However, the fact he got a Ricochet disconnect doesn’t mean he was cheating. It just means he got thrown into Review Limbo.
I’m a 4x Survivor of that, and my brother just came off #6. Shit sucks, man.

That was cool to see. I wonder if they hacked their level as well or didn’t get caught til now? But either glad they got caught.
70% + player base cheats no doubt.
If you are doing bad then your chances of finding a cheater go down but once you do just a little good you are in the sweats.
You can hear all the BS excuses people give to cover up for hackers. From Steam issues, to perks, to kill cam issues.
GUYS THERE ARE UNDECETED HACKS AND THE CHEAT FORUMS ARE FILLED WITH USERS.
The odds of you getting a hacker on your team are lower than the odds of dealing with them.
So that lobby is probably filled with hackers.
