Yeah man, it’s crazy how people don’t like it when something that wasn’t broken and didn’t need to be changed is removed or changed

  2. ceinsamao

Because zombies round based has always worked..

  3. JoJoGahara

Zombie fans hating on the mode before even playing it is crazy 💀

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Cold War has grown on me, I’ll admit that. However, I’m not thrilled to hear about this new mode.

    -Time limit
-24 player lobbies (possibly/probably no solo)
    -AI Enemies (probably soldiers)

    No fucking thanks!

I’m mostly just pissed because we weren’t even supposed to get a CoD this year. Then it turned into a premium DLC. Then it turned into a “full game.” Now they’re including a Zombies mode, lead by Treyarch. They should’ve just taken the year off, but noooo. Now we have Vanguard Zombies 2.0

I smell Vanguard and I fucking hate it.

We are getting round based next year so I hope modern warfare 3 is at least fun

“If it ain’t broke don’t fix” it crowd when the game they love starts becoming stale and repetitive

Seriously, they probably will still do round based maps. It’s not like they aren’t hearing All the outcry right now and it’s not even out yet. I didn’t but vanguard but they put in a round based map after all the complaining although it was just shi no numa.

They are going to give us a big map but they aren’t going to just stop at that. This is the first time modern warfare has ever had zombies don’t you think they are gonna want to actually do something with that and figure out what that experience could even be like

I think the issue is that people feel like round based is getting overlooked in the modes because of the effort being spent elsewhere. If you didn’t like Outbreak, you probably hated Vanguard Zombies and Cold War Zombies for having it be part of the content. Does it ruin the game mode? Not really. It’s just people tend to prefer round based maps. It’s okay if you don’t like it, but honestly it does let the team explore different possibilities with the mode. Black Ops 4 did a similar thing, but I haven’t play too much of it to tell you what’s different.

Cod, when all of the non round based modes don’t do very well:

I wanna play a BO2/Infinite Warfare style of zombies. Traditional zombies that’s more polished and expansive than the WAW-BO1 maps, but doesn’t include a crazy amount of OP shit that BO3 and beyond has. The fate and fortune cards from IW were just barely balanced enough to not oversimplify the game like gobblegums do. I mean, you can call in a freakin air strike in Cold War. Like, good lord man.

It’s almost like zombies fans became a fan because of the round based killing of zombies, otherwise why wouldn’t we play some other shitty pve game?

They should score a hockey match based on how long a team holds a puck for instead of actually scoring on net. Surely hockey fans need to accept this what hockey is now.

As someone who appreciated VGZ for trying something new, my issue isn’t that this is a “new mode.” My issue is that — based on what we know currently — it just doesn’t sound *fun*.

DMZ, as a mode, isn’t something I enjoyed playing very much, so seeing that with a Zombies skin on it doesn’t inspire confidence. Even so, that in and of itself isn’t a dealbreaker. But then you see things like the hour time limit, forcing you to exfil. What the fuck is that about? That’s antithetical to the zombies model.

I love Cold War’s exfil mechanic. Hell, it makes it hard for me to play older zombies. But *forcing* an exfil after a single hour?? My brother and I played games of Outbreak that went 3-4 hours.

Beyond that, I don’t see the need to even *have* zombies in MW3. It doesn’t need to be there. We don’t need zombies just because we didn’t have it this year. There’s no reason for it to be in a game where its out of place.

The *only* possible bright spot would be if — given its similarity to DMZ – its free to play. However, given that I’m 90% sure the only reason we’re even getting zombies in MW3 is to have something more to market to justify why this isn’t just a MW2 content update, I’m not at all optimistic that it will be.

Its not even that this new mode dosent eve sound like zombies and doesnt sound like anything treyarch storyline based itd be cool and id be more on board if they werent involved in my opinion

  15. NinjaVisible3827

I mean, yeah? It’s loved for being a progression based co-op horde mode.

  16. GrievousReborn

If I wanted to play a zombies game that wasn’t round based I would go play Sniper Elite zombies or Left 4 Dead I play Call of Duty for round based zombies.

  17. HollandryGreenstone

More like zombie fans when a game isn’t bo3

  18. Masternick1133

I love all the modes, as long as there’s a story, co-op, and a shit ton of secrets

  19. tntcherry1313

Does anyone else wish they did this dmz styled zombies mode with cryptids instead? Honestly mowing down aliens with a truck sounds more interesting right about now. Not saying I hated outbreak, it was fun. But I don’t need another version of it.

  20. Visto-La-Puerta

I’m excited to play a new zombies experience because I stopped at bo4. I’ve never played ww2 or vanguard or cold war zombies. Hell bo4 was my last cod in general.

  21. Lower-Explorer-8891

Your goddamn right, nah idk I just love that style of zombies gameplay, if they did ant other mode well I’d be open to it but I love getting chased by hordes of zombies waiting for my gun to reload and almost dying but I end up killing them all, it is just fun for me, simple yet challenging at times, at first when I saw the cold war trailer with the flashlight I thought yes an actually fleshed out zombies type campaign where we explore building and turn on power and have a flashlight and the atmosphere is going to be dark and creepy but than it just didn’t turn out that way also like vanguard, I love rouge-like games and love the idea that runs could be different but they just didn’t execute it well, it’s not the fact that we only care about round based it’s the fact that whenever they do something that isn’t round based it flops and fails, I don’t care what game mode just make good zombies again, the reason I like games like the previous zombies installments and left 4 dead and all that is the rush and waves of zombies, I don’t want to run around a map and do objectives just to get kicked out 60 minutes in

Would be fine if the previous zombies mode didn’t completely suck.
