I definitely think the player needs to be weak at the start of game then get stronger (looking at you BO4) so jugg and armor are necessary. I’ve always had issues with the OG system. You get four perks but as a mostly Solo player, three are essential, jugg, quick revive, and double tap. The games have tried to counteract this with perk easter eggs and Gobblegums but that all goes down the drain when you down and you can’t get them back. However this is all fixed in WWII extra health doesn’t take up a perk (or whatever term WWII used for perks) slot. It forces the player to get better at the game. You can progress and do things quicker the better you are because you aren’t burning points buying armor all the time. If you are really good you will never lose your armor unlike Cold War, where armor takes some of the damge from the hit no matter how good you are. Plus there’s no tiers or mid game selection. In cold war you need to go over and select what teir you want or to re up it. I think it is only 6 hits to down which compared to cold wars 5 hits without armor and almost 10 or so hits with armor. You’re still on your toes because yeah you’ll live but you don’t wanna get hit more than three times and lose armor especially when you’ve already raised the price so much, cold war has enough armor drops that you’re less worried about losing it since you’ll probably get a free refil anyway. Jugg you buy once lose it and all your perks after one bad mistake it doesn’t make you think about getting more or working with less health for a bit so you can afford to pack or open a door. Jugg doesn’t benefit better players, making you want to be a better player. My only gripe with WWII is that there’s too many armor buy locations, one or two spots would be nice cause then you can’t buy it immediately and would make the loadout where you start with armor more valuable.
I’d like to add that I typically only play for at most three hours (usually less) a few days a week so when I play and lose all my perks and die from losing all of them early, I end up wanting to keep playing but I dont have time for another game, which is very annoying. Also I haven’t played AW, IW, or Vanguard.

Idk man, I kind of like Black Ops World with dynamic health regeneration more. I feel like encouraging constant movement and gameplay makes it more engaging and challenging.
I really like how Black Ops World took a page from Doom with that concept.
