They look as if they’re integrated bipod legs.
But when you crouch and mount the weapon on a surface, the player doesn’t move them in the outward position, it just mounts on a surface as normal and doesn’t move the arms at all.
I really hope that the Devs find a way of making it into an integrated bipod, and if this doesn’t happen, well, personally I think they’ve missed a trick with it!
P.S, the Checkmate blueprint of the FR Advancer is one of the most beautifully styled weapons I have ever seen. My god it is stunning. Quite ironic seeing as it’s a tool used for killing game people 🤪

They had no function in the original Black Ops either.
If it had a bipod attachment that allows them to unfold it’d be pretty dope.
They are, in fact, integrated bipod legs. They just never actually made them functional, despite including them in the model of the gun.
They are integrated bipod legs. Real FA-MAS has them so it makes sense to include them on the model.
But let’s be honest: how often would you even use a bipod on an AR in CoD anyways?
It’s a bipod. If you go to the end of the underbarrel attachments list you can find an option to deploy it. Weird that you have to use an attachment slot to use something that is part of the gun, but it IS used for something in game.
