I think we are almost there to near perfect. As far as that type of mode but definitely groundbreaking and I love it. I just can see now with how dmz is the way they can take the outbreak game mode to a whole different level. It be nice if the can start something fresh & new, I’m imagining a dmz type setting in some type of lab area/facility site and your crew is there trying to stop weapons of chemical war from being made and your fighting a organization or company/government doing experiments and gas goes off in random areas infecting people and starting a zombie outbreak

Still love it. It’s the best non round-based mode. I just wish they’d added more objectives and more of the Ural Mountains locations. Can’t wait for 2.0! (not MWIII Outbreak)
Jamalisms
I often wish there were more zombies in it but it’s great.
sadistic-salmon
The only thing about it I liked was the vehicles I don’t hate it I just didn’t like it
Uzonna
I’ll probably never prefer it to round based.
BUT
If they let it cook and I think there’s something there.

I love it, it is the mode that got me most of my flawless crystals. Only need 15 more flawless and then have everything t5
Legoman3374
Same about as I did 2 years ago. It really feels like a way to just reuse mp assets and try and appeal to zombies players at the same time. It got better over time but never got close to an actual zombies experience. As much as fire base bores me, its still a lot more fun than outbreak in general
Wrath2529
Still love it! Kinda wish I hadn’t completed every challenge in zombies for that game so I had a hook to keep playing it!
FishyG23
Its probably the best attempt at any non-round based mode, but still feels like it has a long way to go. The basic premise of completing different objectives in a large area to progress is good, but felt pretty limited and repetitive even after all of the updates. This is something a sequel could absolutely fix though, so Im excited to see where it goes. Hopefully they dont butcher it just so they have another mode for MW3.

I think they should have just made Zombies a lot more plentiful and aggressive during higher waves. Also prioritizing certain objectives over escort missions as it slowed down the pacing significantly. There should be incentives to go higher too. Maybe all the special enemies get replaced with elite variants, there’s special events that utilize wonder weapons, etc.
Icy_Possible_6010
Love it. I’ve always dreamed about an open world cod zombies mode since I first played waw.. And we got it. Still play it religiously. Couldn’t be happier. I just hope they continue to make open world cod zombies in the future!
IamCaboose000
Still hate it.

I genuinely liked it. Some of the maps were too big and overall it needed more zombies but I thought it was a fun way to waste time. Simple objectives and overall pretty chill in terms of difficulty
_-_Eagle_-_
Really cool idea but I wish it was more hored based kinda like World War z
Fat_Stacks10
Better than whatever they did in Vanguard, but not as good as round based. It’s a good alternative though.
Fyru_Hawk
Still zero interest in it
SuperAC1andOnly
Pacing for the first 4 rounds is way too slow and the higher rounds lack variety. All in all boring af
i_like_lasanga
I wish there were just fucking massive hordes in it like walking dead quarry sized hordes would be awesome
Iliterallycan
Middest zombies mode kinda just boring
Jimi56
I liked it. I wouldn’t say it was amazing, but it was still fun. My biggest problem were the maps just didn’t work out for the most part, I feel like Armada, Alpine, and the desert one were good. Sanitarium was fine, but all the rest were just too big and empty it felt.
I think the one mode was great too where it is just one map but the zombies get more aggressive as a timer counts down and you have to exfil in the end was fun. My only problem with that mode was that it only lasted ten minutes, and the first few minutes are really slow.
Overall, I do think Outbreak should return, but it shouldn’t take the main stage over round based.
Dr-Zodd
Not a fan tbh.
WayneDiggityDog
I thought it was incredibly boring and empty feeling
Beautiful_Ant5535
I love it I think outbreak is a great way to bring the multiplayer fan base more into zombies with the familiarity and it’s a nice brake from the tedium of round base.
Do I think it’s better then round base/should replace round base no, but alongside with round base I think it’s amazing and they play off each other nicely I do think given the choices of 4 dlc maps or 3 dlc maps and outbreak tho I would choice 3 maps and outbreak like they did with cold war.

Still need some time before I can make a judgment
Honestly. It’s a pretty fun time killer, the world mode is perfect if you want a quick game of zombies that ends before fatigue starts kicking in.
BuffetBoar96505
I’ve done 2 Easter eggs in it and both were incredible! In the end it puts you in an arena that’s like round based boss fight, where you can’t run for a break and have to fight until the end.
HuckleberryStrange46
Not for me
Mattie_1S1K
Good idea but if rather of had the old black out map full of zombies from mend to end…. It already had all the zombie land marks in it. And ee could of been amazing in it
The_lung_stealer
It was alright. There should’ve been more zombies. Since outbreak 2 will be in mw3, I think they should add events where there are GIGANTIC hordes of zombies
Kanj0Bazooie
I never *loved* it throughout it’s run, but I’ll never say that it shouldn’t have been made, and the audience it managed to gather is clear. Maybe if the environments were original, there were more EE’s, and there was just more to do in general, I’d enjoy it. Hopefully that can happen one day. Until then, I’m staying a round based enjoyer

I like it. It’s not better than normal zombies (and it’s way better than what vanguard tried to do) but it’s something new.
TimeForWaluigi
Super fun change of pace. When my friends and I got tired of rounds we swapped to outbreak and it’s loads of fun to screw around in.
HEAPASS6283
I don’t get to run tight circles and see the red number get higher and use thunder gun. I don’t like it
MidichlorianAddict
This will mark the downfall of zombies
LeggoMahLegolas
Never understood the extreme hate for it.
I get why not a whole lot of people didn’t liked it because it didn’t have a whole lot of stuff to do, but the main quests were both awesome to play.
Membership_Enough
i only touched the gamemode for the easter eggs but i felt like it was too easy idk if it gets hard later on but it was a bore to me for the few levels i played. If anyone can tell me why they like the mode please do not trying to dog on it but maybe i can play it a different way?
grant0318
I’m obsessed and play it daily
X2006_SubZero
It’s just a really well-made side mode, just like DMZ. It was just a side mode that took a lot of development time.
