I want to play it but am worried I know nothing about DND and will be overwhelmed. I do love turn based RPGs and fantasy stories though

This is another game that I lnow is just amazing, but I am too dumb/ lack the time to invest to play it as intended. But I will recommend it any chance I get.
So happy for Larian to make another banger. Gold for them!

Damn do wish this hame had a different combat system. Looks so good otherwise. Basically **the** “Dragon Age” game a lot of people have been waiting for.
*Edit: I realize however, that given the DnD rules you probably can’t use a different system?*

This game deserves attention. Even the “critical fail dice” won’t stop me to recommend people.

I wish I can play it (laptop only while my PC is in another country).
It was a masterpiece during early access, it’s a pity I can’t play it now…

As a big fan of Divinity OS 2 I will be buying this by the end of the month.
How difficult is this to get into? For reference I had a blast playing through classic mode in OS 2. Granted it was my first time playing a game of this genre and certain fights destroyed me dozens of times lol.

I can’t wait to play it, I’m a console guy though so I have to wait until it’s on PS5.

This post made me look up the all time most played games on steam and I was kinda shocked at how few of them I’ve ever played. 5 out of the top 20.
Makes me think

Is there any way for someone who absolutely can’t stand turn based combat to enjoy this game? I wanna see what all the fuzz is about, but the combat system could not be further from what I enjoy

Would I miss out anything if I never play baldur’s gate 1 and 2 first?
