Decided to join a ranked match, in the beginning of the game I was told that everyone is hiding in the bushes etc until last circles, so if I engage with someone, I’m on my own. I thought it’s weird but what do I know, I followed their tactics. We were laying in the bushes like 60m from each other and all of a sudden I got I heard footsteps and asked for help as I need cover, and they just told me that they won’t do anything for me. Obviously I was swamped by 4 people and got shot right in front of my teammates who then called me f words etc. And match ended by last guy dying in blue zone. Is this how ranked games are played? This is laughable.

No, lol. I do like to play the edge of zone, but just hiding like that is stupid
This is how people have always played ranked.
You played with people who don’t trust their gun skills/tactics and rather sit in a bush to let people die off in hopes they can swoop in and get a couple kills and get OK placement.
Alternatively, you joined people who are trolling to get people mad they died by a rat that was 10m from them for 5 minutes before they got shot.

On their own, avoid all fights and rat around. They have 0 interest in playing with the rest of the team.
