Ceiling mounted greenery definitely makes this space look busy so I would limit it if not completely remove it. Definitely ditch at least the one from PC case. Extend the mic arm up so it’s out of the way if you use it frequently (it gets it out of your peripheral vision but is still close and easy to grab) or hide it behind side monitor if you don’t use it frequently and don’t mind extra gymnastics pulling it whenever needed.
I would also ditch the mesh cup with two metal sticks – not sure what it is but doesn’t look useful on desk. Replace glorious mouse pad with a bigger desk mat to put under the mouse and the keyboard which would allow you to ditch the wrist rest (if it’s about only small discomfort which desk mat would eliminate). I would also move headphones holder to the left side of the desk.

the mousapd disturbs the space imho. it doesnt really look healthy anyway. Id get a smaller one and/or one with a lighter color. it drags the whole place down.

Is that a light bar your cam is attached to?

Definitely remove fake plants. I agree with the mouse pad too. If you have a laser mouse, you probably don’t need it. I never used a mousepad with a laminate top but I just got a walnut top a year ago and noticed it was ever so slightly wearing down the finish so I got [this one off Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FZX32HG?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) and it looks and feels nice.

Get a whole desk Matt, and switch to a black frame and black key caps. You’re due for a new mousepad anyways. Maybe also try to hide your cords. And for the cords that you can’t hide (mouse/ keyboard) try to make them more athstetic. Like get a spiral cord for the keyboard and get a cord riser for the mouse. You could also switch to wireless. I switched to wireless and I could immediately see the difference. One more thing is to try too stick to one color pattern. Like keep everything on your desk black. This would include your coaster, your candle, your pots for plants, etc. it will just keep things more uniform. Hope this helped 👍

Take the fake stuff pinned to your ceiling down for a start.

I think having a desk that’s long enough to reach the wall would really clean things up as it would let you spread things out on the desk more.

Taking the rainforest from above your head is the first place to begin.

I’d get one large mouspad and keep both the keyboard and the mouse on it.
Maybe you can confine the plants more, I’d try to have them frame the curtains. You could pin them on the top left corner and have it fill in space without it looking cluttered.

Get rid of the greenery.
