Did they lie about reporters being punished for false reporting or spam reporting?

How this issue hasn’t blown up to warrant any type of acknowledgement from Activsion is beyond me. Imagine CSGO or any other AAA game completely removed your ability to play the game for almost a week, repeatedly, because other players reported you enough times. Absolutely infuriating

They obviously have some problems with the report system.
They are continuously banning certain legit players.
I have several people from my Discord channel that stuck in Shadow Ban loop. Some of them have been banned more than 8 times in a row.
Almost all of them are experienced players with high KD ratios. When we enter matches with low skill players and kill them, we obviously receive reports, because the actions of skilled players might appear unfair to them.
However, as I mentioned, for some reason, they ban some players but not others…
