Looks supernice! Lovely setup you have there. I would probably give the shelf more space and pull your desk all the way to the left. Just to leave some air for the shelf and sofa.
But it really doesn’t look bad as it is now. Totally like this style

The couch’s color and looks doesn’t match the rest of the room and it seems to intrude on the desk chair’s space. It’s also blocking off the shelves making it look a bit like a storage space.

What countertop is that?

Doesn’t look off to me, man — looks amazing.
Could use a plant or two though. If it were me, I’d add a third shelf up a above the monitors, and perhaps get one of those plants that hang down aways past the shelf line.

There is zero life in this room. Its like AI designed it. You need textures and shit all over. By that I mean specifically you need a rug, not “a poster” but you need like 5 posters all over, overlapping and out of order. Stop over measuring everything, robots live in symmetry not humans.
Layer in textures, lighting. Rugs, posters, wall decor, a couple neons from etsy, a throw blanket on the couch to start. The best way I can summarize this is, pretend a lazy 13 year old lives in this room… then decorate it like that.

I agree with the some of the other comments. I think it looks good. The only thing (and it could be the camera lens/angle) is the desk doesn’t look centered on the wall. Maybe move it to the left and turn the shelf so it’s facing out (and not toward the desk).

How does it feel having your back to the entrance when at the computer?

I think you have a great base.
From my perspective, I do feel like the couch is a bit large for the room and I also think a colorful rug would really give the room some “pop”, as well as some wall art.
These are only my opinions and I understand that you may not agree-enjoy it, it’s a cool room! 😎

Couch and shelf bring too much weight to the right side. If the poster stands out it will bring balance

Maybe put more stuff on the wall, however I think it’s perfect. You probably have the “Not finished” feeling everyone gets.

Looks sweet how about some modern lighting like this https://vakkerlight.com/cdn/shop/products/Minimalist_Line_Wall_Lamp_2.jpg?v=1687479782
Of course just a idea. I would build on myself led strip with a diffuser and cord management with a custom switch or alexa
Off or did you mean amazeballs? I wish I had a space like this right now!!!
