Electric only lake so power is from 2 12v 200Ah LiFePO4 batteries running to an 300W AC inverter for the monitor, my 4G LTE cellular based rural ISP modem and a 100W USB-C power brick which powers two laptop and whatever else I need DC power for like my phone, headset, etc. Laptops (in the table next to the propane tank to keep them out of the sun) are a Microsoft Surface Laptop (legally I should say I work at MS but have nothing to do with hardware of any kind) and a locked down Lenovo.
I bought the boat in 2020 as I figured if I have to work from home, why not work from a boat. Only problem is in the PNW I can only do this for a little more than 3 months a year. Then it’s back inside out of the rain for 9 months. But what a glorious 3 months!!
Today a meeting ended a little early and I had 10 minutes until my next call so I did a little fishing :-). Yes my coworkers know and yes I’ve invited them out to join me.
