If you could suspend the board for the desk in the wall or use a wider board using L brackets you will gain floor space wich would make it comfier to slide the chair in for gaming, also you will gain some cm of wide space in the desk if your are able to either get a bigger table or some wood to fill the space around.
Get those speakers spread apart in top of the first self if you are using them.
