What are the best cyberpunk and post-cyberpunk works set in space?
Like the title says I’m looking for works of cyberpunk and post-cyberpunk that are set in space. However, I would like to avoid works that invoke the Japan takes over the world trope because 1) it’s racist and 2) it’s a discredited trope.
Here are the works I have been able to find so far: Aeon 14, Bubbles in Space, Cassandra Kresnov, Hc Svnt Dracones, The Polity, EVE Online, System Shock 1 + 2, Orbital Children, Battle Angel Alita, Elysium, Altered Carbon, Killjoys, Grydscaen, Hardwired series, Limit, Prime Suspects a Clone Detective Mystery, Stray Cat Strut, Citizen Sleeper, Gemini Rue, Vacuum Flowers, Steel Beach, Schismarix, Aristoi, Angel Station, Implied Spaces, Neuromancer, Radio Free Fall, the Neoaddix series, the Autumn Rains series, and the Station series.

I loved Altered Carbons setting in the Netflix adaptation.
I felt like they dropped the ball with it major
The Fifth Element
Coruscant from Star Wars is specifically quite cyberpunk
Total Recall
The Crystal Express. It’s fantastic.
Space Sweepers
Cowboy Bebop is my suggestion.
*The Ware Tetralogy* (Rudy Rucker)
Takes place in LEO, on the moon, and possibly farther out.
If you want a video game, _Hardspace: Shipbreaker_. A real blue-collar look at a world where the corps rule.
system shock series
