Looking for advice from some of those players that have mastered the 6x sprays. I’ve always fooled around with it but never felt super comfortable.

I’ve always been a red dot/holo (1x) player but yesterday I once again thought, “let’s try the 6x out again.” Partially because I wanted to use the DBS due to the new skin and because I couldn’t find a DMR. Lol.

Using a 1x feels natural to me even at the 100-200m range. There’s just something about the sight picture being a 1:1 ratio that gives me the info needed to hitting the spray from an AR with the appropriate lead time.

However something I noticed last night, after watching the video provided. I figured out why I don’t feel comfortable. It’s because zooming in on a target messes with my muscle memory. I feel as if the target is closer then they are and I lead them based on that “feeling” of spraying with a 1x. (Specifically the second spray at the bear-man)

How do I get over this without messing up my 1x muscle memory? Is that possible? Is it even worth learning the 6x if I feel comfortable at those ranges with an AR?

From this clip alone it looks like you need to lead your sprays more. Your recoil control looks really good. Keep the 6x zoomed to a 3x unless you really need to zoom out all the way.

I honestly feel like this wasn’t a bad clip using a 6x at all, it’s just your lead is way off. You would’ve easily gotten the ghillie guy if you just lead him.

    Hope this helps at all.
