Love that you and your child have this space to share with one another!

I’ll leave the decor recommendations to others, but might suggest relocating the left pc tower to the opposite side of the desk as to leave the open seated area below unobstructed above. While your kid likely fits within the constrained area now, it likely won’t be long before it starts feeling cramped.

Shelves. Shelves for the knickknacks. Every good office needs room for knickknacks. Puzzles, books, figurines, plants. Even pictures and artwork. Take your pick, shelves help to fill a space and let you personalize without making any big changes.

Does your wee boy collect anything? Maybe having a display of things he loves and some artwork on the walls would be a good shout.

some wall-mounted display shelves above the setups with minis, toys, figurines, etc, as well as some LED(or RGB if you can afford it) lighting, and also some lamps on the side would make it look so much better.

More Rubik’s cubes. I see one, and I need to see more (I have a big collection in my office)

A properly levelled floor would be a good start

At this point, literally anything at all. LOL. Defo wall hangings would go a long way if you’re trying to turn up the vibe.
