The 2 hamsters on the wheel are being introduced to a new 3rd hamster to help speed up this progress in the QA team

This happens literally every patch or update. Game runs like absolutely garbage until there’s 2 weeks before next update, then it runs fine during that time until next patch and then game once again runs like diarrhea for a month.

I hope Microsoft taking over means better PC optimization.

It’s actually unplayable right now on high end PC. Won’t get fixed as usual.

How does this shit get shipped? People who have top of the line PCs are seeing a massive decrease in FPS. There is just no way this was tested by them before release.

if you could also investigate the ammunition box which gives a selfrevive instead of reloading 🤣

We really are their QA team

Definitely broke something on the engine. Even the Benchmarking tool in MW2 is dropping frames to the teens, when I used to hi like 150fps minimum. 4090 and 13700k.

Investigating reports of their compensation package from the MSFT acquisition seems more likely, or maybe their severance? They ain’t working that’s for sure. Maybe two stressed out interns frantically trying random things while getting berated by some middle manager who doesn’t know what he’s doing either but is the son of one of the c-suite guys so he’s unfirable. Idk I just like imagining what internal dumpster fire is precipitating this external dumpster fire.

Don’t get me wrong, I definitely will still play this garbage – once they put the fire out and it’s floor doesn’t collapse. Hope it doesn’t take more than a day… but honestly what couldn’t they do at this point? People will still come back no matter what. And if they don’t? Probably not a long term problem or priority. Blizzard’s user base is rising and mobile is still king of both population as well as revenue.
