Lol been playing since day 1 and didn’t know this. It sure what to do with the information though as in general I am constantly trying to hit the head already? I guess aim higher until it changes if you can? Thanks for sharing!

  2. Been playing since verdansk and never knew this thanks

I never noticed in the heat of the moment. I know there’s a different sound when you get a kill with a headshot, but wasn’t aware of the hitmarker

  5. I assume people don’t even practice in the shooting area to see this. Sigh.

I see your problem right there, you’re assuming I can actually get a headshot.

No point in hitting headshots anyway cuz of the shitty damage clamps

Visual recoil takes away from most of this. Half the time I’m not seeing my enemy, let alone the hit marker variants… lol

You can literally see and emulate this in the shooting range. I don’t wanna be that guy, but if you wanted proof you should’ve just done that, and if would’ve taken you like 2 minutes instead of going to a match.
And yes, I also think It’s easily noticeable, I’ve always knew that. I thought people watch at their markers when they shoot?!

I noticed it either at launch or when I was playing the beta because it’s sorta *just right there*. There might even be a setting regarding this feature in the game.

I’m gonna guess it’s more so console players or anyone who sits a fair distance away from their display that didn’t know as it’s not as easy to see small details like extra crosshair notches.

There are even some that never see head shots ones.
