It’s a great read. It shows the philosophy that the creator of WZ had in mind while designing the game. While it changed over time and it gave rise to the WZ1 we all played and loved, at its core, it was a fast-paced sweatfest with chaos and intense action happening all over the place. The tight mechanics of the MW2019 engine provided a very solid basis for a very immersive and heart-beating experience. The dread of running across an open field without thinking and then getting sniped in the head was addictive. The joy of team-wiping a team using your brain and your reflexes gave everyone that high we all got eventually addicted to. The fact that you outboned 149 other players in a SOLOs match, grabbing bounties and moving from one POI to the other was elating.

The game was brutal. It was unforgiving. It gave you tools to become a literal demon or become the most toxic riot shield, bouncing betties, kali sticks user.

And most importantly, it was fun.

When I went back to wz1 near last cicle I zipped onto someone, started drawig circles b/c the heart beat upped adrenalin and much less aim assist made my aim dogshit. Wz1 is still a great experience if you want it to be on PC so you dont get 80 fov locked.

Now wz2 is completely changed and to me, only resurg is playable.

WZ2 is a bad BR. It’s a lackluster extraction shooter. It has no identity. Kills me because WZ1 was my baby.

Now Diablo 4 pulled me off of all things because WZ2 is just boring. I don’t even like ARPG’s.

Wz2 is the opposite now lol you get penalized for being aggressive in this game.
Wz2 feels like they built DMZ first then made the br off the back of DMZ.
