His mirth is very disturbing, but the same enjoyment that he experienced thousands of times before in fake video games. I can’t figure out why this submission isn’t cyberpunk imo. Maybe it is too present-tech. Cyberpunk exists in a near future.
Update, I think it’s because he keeps disconnecting and revealing that he lives in our current world
His clothing is impressive, especially for ludite military, but I stop short of “Punk” .
Sending a suicide drone to kill other people and being happy about it.. Even if the people he killed might be real bad people, it’s still very disturbinng to be happy about it and celebrate… maybe i’m too soft idk
