I’m someone who plays on controller, but doesn’t rely on AA. I sometimes turn it off if I want more of a challenge.
Personally, I think it’s overtuned. A bit too strong. Definitely not “aimbot” definitely doesn’t “aim for you” definitely not “wall hacks”
All of the things that KBM players who’ve never touched a controller say when they die to someone who was just better

I doubt it, I’d only believe it if there was confirmation from a dev. Knowing their history, it’s more likely they’ll buff it so no controller player has to worry about any form of stick input to activate it (too much skill gap), perhaps it’ll just be bound to the firing trigger…

I play without aim assist because I hate when it kicks in when two players are in close proximity and cross each other pulling your aim away from the intended target.

This sounds too good to be true.
It’s probably AA interacting strangely with objects/cover in Vondel that he wasn’t prepared for or he was playing against streamers that have great movement. It was a invite-only event.

They fucking might have cause these last two nights my aim has felt very off. Specifically when i would probably feel AA the most. And I literally asked my buddy earlier if they nerfed it cause it felt like it. Cause it was that or server issues cause I’ve been lagging a lot too lately. Full on teleportation and stuttering. I’ll have to lighten my sensitivity tomorrow and watch closer.

Consoles doesnt have a powerfull aim assist.streamers are whinning too much. Whatever, i will never activate cross play.

I highly doubt it…[IW themselves once stated (post MW2019) that Aim Assist was too strong](https://imgur.com/a/Y31aVUz#2JK7GWz), yet for some godforsaken reason they made it even stronger in MW2 by adding all the visual recoil/clutter.
CoD influencers just make shit up to try and get people to keep playing this trainwreck of a game
