Honestly just download whichever one looks nice to you on the Workshop. I will suggest Dark Harvest, Shoot Haus and Call of the Dead Remastered. Also download the all-around enhancements mod and the reaper collection mod, these 2 are great.

Install windows. Not all custom maps will work on steamOS (if I recall, MOTD remastered doesn’t work)
Der Riese: Declassified is great if you’re into doing the easter eggs, and if you want more of an updated WaW version of Der Riese rather than The Giant. I like the WWII era guns myself rather than the BO3 weapons in The Giant.
