Lil somethin’ I made after seeing a notable pattern emerge in a pretty significant number of Taego competitive matches – and I want to hear your thoughts
If you’ve noticed any weird patterns that occur frequently as a viewer or a player, or if you watch the video and you agree or disagree with some of my own ideas or theories, please let me know!
It takes ages to properly learn a map in detail, so the more perspectives we can hear and learn from only makes the experience better for everyone.
Civil discussion preferred but I’m down to be called a tin foil hatted idiot if you have a solid counter argument 😉

Fun fact, when Sanhok was implemented into competitive it had the exact same issue. At the time I was coaching a NPL-C team (Halocline) and it was pretty well established that something about the map was a bit wonky. If the circle didn’t go hard shift away on the first circle, chances are it was going to move back towards the NW island with the majority of games finishing on the NW island. Something like 50-60% of games at the time. If you looked at drop maps from that time period almost every team dropped Center or NW island. Not sure if there is some relation but it’s definitely interesting
