    As much as VR tech is improving, I don’t think it will go mainstream until we get away from goggles and go into something more like holograms. It’s just too clunky and finicky for the casual user, and that price point isn’t gonna help at all.

    I think VR goggles exclude too many people (visually impaired, lazy eye, motion sickness) to become more than what they already are: a toy. I definitely see value in AR, but VR not so much.

    3499 dollars of pure cringe. It reminds me if Isaav Asimov’s moveks, where everything (even belts) were going to be powered by a nuclear reactor. Techbros think they need to put virtual into everything. It’s like I’m back in the early 90’s.

    This will change the way we see the world like the Sinclair C5 and the Segway changed transport 🙂

    Well Google glass did well so I expect big things 🙂
